As summer approaches and the temperatures rise, there's no better way to beat the heat than by spending a few days at River Park Resort. Our scenic location on the South Fork of the American River offers the perfect setting for a relaxing and rejuvenating camping experience. And with our various accommodation options and affordable prices, there's something for everyone at River Park Resort.

Campsites

Campsite rental per night typically starts at $39 per person. We do a have minimum charge for each campsite: Extra persons above/over the minimum number will be charged $39 per person per night. Kids under 2 years of age are free with an equal number of paid adults. Well behaved dogs are free.

Site 1: $468 per night- 12 person minimum, 50 person maximum

Site 2: $156 per night- 4 person minimum, 20 person maximum

Site 3: $156 per night - 4 person minimum, 12 person maximum

Camper van space

Camper van space per night includes water and electricity hook-up. 2 person maximum per van.

$140 per night - price based on 2 adults and 1 vehicle.

Riverview yurt

Our Riverview yurt offers a unique and tranquil experience, surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of the riverfront. 2 adult maximum.

$150 per night - Please bring your own linens.

$185 per night - Includes linens (bedding only)

Group events

We host a variety of retreats and events, such as weddings, family reunions, business meetings, parties, and large group rafting trips. You can also rent our entire resort for special events. Let us know what you have in mind!

Guided rafting trips on the American River

A guided rafting trip on the American River offers an exciting and scenic adventure for thrill-seekers and nature lovers alike.

2 hour Lazy River Float

This trip is perfect for families with small children (ages 4 years old and up). The trip meets at 1:30 pm at our trip check in window. We'll ride the van up to the put in at American River Resort. On the way we will drive through historic Marshall Gold Discovery park where the California Gold Rush started in 1848. The float is fun for kids and adults alike. We stop for a few spots between the rapids where you can swim in the water and view wildlife. Take out at River Park Resort is about 4:00PM. Each raft has a knowledgeable and friendly guide to give you safety instructions and to keep you entertained!

Prices: Adult - $109 per person, Youth (under 18 years) - $99 per person

3 Hour Guided Whitewater Trip

This trip is suited for adventurous and athletic people (ages 7 years old and up). The trip meets at 9:00AM at our trip check in window. We'll ride the van up to the put in at Chili Bar Park. The trip features non stop whitewater action along with the famous "Troublemaker Rapid". We stop for a few spots between the rapids where you can swim in the water and view wildlife. Take out at River Park Resort is about 12:00 noon. Each raft has a knowledgeable and friendly guide to give you safety instructions and to keep you entertained!

Prices: Adult - $149 per person, Youth (under 18 years) - $129 per person
